Some people try and register for membership of the forum using "made up" / dummy email addresses. It just doesn't work chaps. I get the "failed delivery" message in my email and then helpfully try to forward the news to our supposed new enthusiast, and advise them to add the forum url to their Mail application/firewall/address book, and then of course I receive a "failed delivery" message saying there is no such mail account at Yahoo or Hotmail whatever.

IT'S A WASTE OF MY BLOODY TIME!

If you're that paranoid about giving away your identity just do what everyone else does - register a Hotmail account for real with a made up name of your choice - only I can see your IP address when you're on the forum, and I love keeping secrets me. Broadly speaking I do not know any of you and as such have no axe to grind. If I do take issue, be assured I speak my mind as I'm from the centre of the universe, West Yorkshire tha' knows, where we call a spade by it's proper name, a shovel (actually shovel is a viking word - they invaded us some years back you may recall and left several of their words behind, but I digress).

If the trend continues I shall name and shame the individuals by publishing their made up email addresses at this very boutique - someone intuitive may then have a clue to their ID and tell them the error of their ways....

Yorkshire 'eh?

To be honest I can't believe you even tried to mail the MichaelMouse@hotmail.co.uk address.

DaffyDuck@yahoo.co.uk, now there is a good old fashioned Yorkshire e-mail account! Wink
